I pulled the heads of my 67 Chevelle I knew they were 074 heads but fiqured they were 1971 dated ends up they are 1969 dated. The dates are 4-69 and 8-69. My question is what date was the last ZL1 made and the last L88 made. Trying to decide if its worth selling theese since I could buy a set of 074 1971 dated pretty reasonable.

John, being 4 months apart might be an issue for a buyer but it wouldnt be impossible that they came that way as a set. Id say they are fine for L88 production since the strike year carried past august 69, but they are too late for the ZL1. Some people just like to see those 69 dates and the month wont matter

Selling 074s as singles is not the way to go. Someone will want them because they are both 1969 dated and it would take alot longer to sell two singles for as much as youd get for the pair.
