Default Purchase dates of 1969 Muscle cars - Woodstock ?

Thought it may be interesting if anyone who has a Yenko, Copo or ZL1 has a documented original purchase date of their vehicle around the Woodstock happenings 8/15/69 - 8/17/69. While 1969 was a climax of many social changes it may be interesting to see if any muscle car purchases can be associated with these dates or any other significant date.

We bought our COPO Chevelle 8/18/69. Absolutely nothing to do with Woodstock. I was into MUSCLECARS. I guess we were back woods as long hair and hippies were an oddity around here.

I always pose the question of how many more musclecars would have been sold if the Viet Nam war didn't take place.!

Jim, you would also have to ask how many muscle cars were purchased BECAUSE of the war. Many returning Vets used their mustering out pay to purchase their dream car. Myself, foolishly spent the mustering out pay on beer and living good with friends
