Default Here is a copy of an E-Mail from Someone on Rare Z

Anybody else get an E-Mail from this guy and his Super Rare X-11 Z/28 Here is the copy...
<<<<Hello,
To the best of our knowledge we own the only one of one 1969 Z/28 R/S with the code of X 11. At this time we have a complete rolling chassis only (matching numbers to the X 11 code). Minus the original motor and transmission, however, we do have heads, crank shaft, rods and pistons, camshaft, four barrel intake, oil pan, oil pump, timing chain gear and chain, which all these items have been certified by a well known machine shop. We are going to sell this vehicle between the month of February and March. We have already received several certified offers with verification of funds to support the transaction. From our knowledge of 1969 Z/28 R/S, the code on the cowl plate are X 33 codes. It is our understanding, the one that we have mentioned, one of two things have happened, When the assembly line set up to build the Rally Sport Z/28's they would have a certain amount of orders and when they got down to the last build out everything was in place except for an X 33 code body, instead it ended up to be an X 11 code body, which we all know the only difference in the body's is the I.D. code on the cowl plate, which determines which package they are going to do the build out with. The other possibility is back in that era a senior VP could come down to the assembly line operations and request whatever pleased him to be built on the assembly line without an order form. For those of you who are in to restoring classic Camaros, from one to ten, ten being the best, I rate this car a solid seven. Extremely unusual, because this is a Maryland car and title, which is a salt state during the winter months. I believe what saved this car, it had a ZIebart coating from the date of manufacturing.

We live in a private Air Park in Fort Myers, FL. If you fly or have friends that fly, you are more than welcome to come and review the vehicle. We have many others besides this one. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Mark>>>>>
Where do these people come from,
Sam
