Turbo 400 and L88

The information I have looked up shows that 1967 was the first year the L88 427 was put in a Corvette..is this true?
Also was a Turbo 400 available in a 1967 Corvette with a L88 427.

Below are the codes off the tag of a Turbo 400 I currently have in my 1969 Nova 502, a past owner of the transmission claims that it came out of a 1967 Corvette L88...any help would be appreciated.
