Default Camaro waterpump

I got a waterpump with number: GM5 39 69 811 TX F12 9
The info I get on this, is that it`s for a 69 Camaro 427.
It`s a long type of pump, and I`m going to use it for my 69 Camaro.
I wonder if the long type of pump really going to fit in the 69.
Is there anybody who know.

Is there really room for that behind the radiator?

What JoeC is saying is that all B/B Camaros were of the long water pump variety, starting in 1969. So yes, there is ample room for the fan. Just make sure you use the correct radiator, fan and fan clutch, and proper shroud, and everything will fit.

Also, make sure you are using the correct motor mount towers, so the engine sits in the right position.

I just looked in "Chevy By The Numbers 1965-1969" and did not find the number you listed. Maybe someone a little more knowledgeable than I can comment, but I think there is an issue with later design long water pumps with the ribbed snout. Seems like there is interference with 69 pulleys.
I used the correct pump and correct pulleys, on mine, so I am not speaking from experience. I just remember someone making a comment at one point about being careful not to mix and match on the pump and pulleys.

Sorry, I should have stayed out of this one, but since I looked up the number after I made the first post, I felt obligated to post this.
