Default Oil fill tube removal. 1968

Would like to remove the oil filler tube on my 68 Chevy engine (275 hp 327). Cast iron intake with Q-Jet. Would like to install a different one with PCV fitting.

I got it to move a little bit. It rocks, but tapping the top ring from underneath, it just won't come up.

Is it peened in from the bottom? Swaged out a bit? Can't tell by looking and there isn't much room to see anything even with an articulating boroscope. I really don't want to remove the intake, as it doesn't leak and I would rather not disturb it.
