I am having a hard time identifying the camshaft I pulled out of my 1969 Z/28 302 motor. The only things I see on the cam are a green dot, -725-, a rectangle with one side having a "V" cut out, and the number 113668.The cam has a CWC core and kinda looks like a big block profile. The cam itself is in great condition and I would like to use it. Any help in identifying this cam would be greatly appreciated.

Number is so close to this great F-288-2 grind from Crane. A nice Z/28 cam so it is.
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/crn-113861 I'll keep looking.

I just took a GM camshaft out of the factory tube and it has the CWC on the camshaft just like the cam I am still trying to identify. So, my question is does anyone know of a GM camshaft with a part number ending in 725 or 668?

CWC is the cam core company that made the cam stock before it was sold to a camshaft grinder. They make cams for hundreds of different cam grinders including GM. Unfortunately, that won't tell you who actually ground the cam and the number could be a random stamp by just about anyone who grinds cams. Tough one to decipher thus far?
CWC = Campbell Wyant and Cannon Foundry

I agree with NorCam as it seems like an old Crane camshaft due to the six numerical ID #. I checked all my camshaft catalogs to see if any other manufacturers used six number ID codes and Crane was all I could find.
