Love this car! I was very close to buying the Steel Cities Grey 72 Corvette Convertible with 3600 miles that was on eBay last week. He wanted a few thousand more than I felt it was worth and we couldn’t strike a deal.

PRETTY SURE THE OPEL GT, did not pre-exist this (1965 Mako show car) which the C3 was based on...?

And, of course the '64 Banshee styling exercise is an influence that pre-dates both...obvious influence

Hey, I'm in that picture, and my Vette too!! I also see Dave Shutzbank, Dave and Dan's '67 directly beside it, and Member RCH's yellow '67 beside mine. Beautiful cars!!

What a great week that was! When three great 67 L36 cars got Four Stars!
