Default instant flashback to 1983

The car in this ad takes me back to the kind of cars you saw at shows in the early 1980s.

'80s stripes / graphics - check
Tall stance with wide bias ply tires and cragars - check
L88 hood - check
braided hose and yellow wires - check
Air brushed mural (in this case, on glove box door) - check
and the list goes on....

Just need to load the cassette case with Quiet Riot- Metal Health, Def Leopard - Pyromania, Van Halen, etc, etc, and go cruise! LOL

That Chevelle is fantastic. And no bidders at $15k? That car is unbelievably clean and a steal at that price. If I had the room and a little extra jing, I'd buy that and other than adding another carb to the tunnel ram, keep it just as it is.

I think part of the problem is the seller has Zero transactions. I know everybody on eBay at one time had to get a start, but as long as eBay has been around, it is hard to believe there is still someone trying to sell a hot rod that hasn't at least bought something there.

I think it's been listed a few times. Scuncio (Tony) had links to it on the Chevelle site a while back?

I smell a rat here. Something is wrong! Car sold on May 25th for 25,000. People were fighting for it. Reserve was met and it kept going.

same seller?

people back out once they come to their senses and eBay has no way you can "punish" the flakey bidders anymore

Mark... doesn't that look just like a vehicle you'd have seen on Corrigan (sp?) drive on a Sunday afternoon in '82-'83?

LOL, totally a South Park ride. So many hot cars BITD on Corrigan and then at McD's and Danny's on a Saturday night. I used to beg my dad to drive slowly past so I could see them all. Man, I miss those days (and my dad even more). One of these days I'm gonna drag my Camaro up to PA and hit South Park and some of the local cruises.
