i have a set - i believe are gm but don't know for sure....how do u tell orig gm vs repop ones?

I believe the orig ones are marked r&amp;l and the stamp is deep.

Morgan, the repros look better than the originals do. They are also about 1/5 the price of nos. Unless you are needing them for a complete survivor car, don't spend the money or fuss over it. rechroming the ones you have is cheaper and will give you a better end result than buying nos which are usually found with thin chrome and condition defects FWIW
