I had the same question earlier this year for my AC pump. I called Arthur Gold Rebuilders in Kings Park NY and they told me they should have their machining set up by November to rebuild the 70 and later crimped pumps. They told me to call them back in October. Website link is below. Ted

Goathill did a number of L78 pump for me about 6 years ago..it wasn't fast, but it worked out ok....don't know if they are still on board, though I think their reputation has been less than stellar with many in the hobby.
I would check with some of the resto gurus on this site and get their input... wilma

spoke with arthur gould rebuilders today and they are still trying to get the crimped pumps rebuild method squared away. He told me they get at least one request per day. and said to give them a few more months.
