Who do you guys recommend for buying reproduction windshield, rear window and while I am at it, might as well replace all side glass as well for my '69 Nova?
Thank you, Paul

Paul. Auto City Glass in Minnesota. Most reasonable. Check all your date codes before ordering and once you receive your pieces and definitely before they go on the car.

PS Auto Glass in Janesville, WI is another good supplier. The also will etch the glass for the correct dates.

Auto City Classics is the main supplier of this glass and distributes it to many of the others around the country so that is where you will get your best price.

I would comment that if you could find a good used one you might like it better. The repops that I've seen and used for Nova back glass always shows shadow patches in the right light. I've been told this is due to a faster cooling process where they are produced. It's not that noticeable until you get it in the light at just the right angle, but unless they've changed the process it's in all the repop s I've seen. FWIW.

Pilkington Glass sells the date coded, heavy thickness glass just like the original pieces. I used them for the windshield and door glass on the black Firebird. The installer commented that he hadn't come across replacement glass that heavy in decades. I guess most modern replacement glass is thinner now.
http://www.pilkingtonclassics.com/ They ship in heavy, wooden crates the size of coffins! (very expensive shipping costs - be forewarend) |

To be more specific, I've only seen this on 3rd gen Nova back glass. Not sides, or windshield, or Camaro pieces. I have had Camaro back glass fitment issues.
