I don't think an SS wagon ever existed until the 1973 Chevelle.

A 1964 SS VIN will begin with 40447. If it's a non SS benchseat hardtop it will be 40437. Unfortunately, neither of these numbers tell you whether these cars were V/8 or six cylinder.
