I'm ready to cover the floor of my 1968 Elkie SS and don't know whether the truck originally came with carpet or rubber flooring? I know the flooring that complimented the diamond-tuck crush velvet seats, door panels and head-liner was not original. I've seen non-SS elkies that came with rubber flooring. If carpet was optional, my GM of Canada docs do not show anything that would indicate the flooring being one or the other.
Can anyone confirm whether a 1968 El Camino SS (4-speed) originally came with carpet or rubber flooring? |
