Default QB 409 block

Looking for a December 1961 dated "QB" 409 block. Bare blocks or short blocks with correct rotating assembly considered.

Thanks

Jake

Jake, I have a couple but they have VINs on them. What's the point of finding an original assy date if the VIN doesn't match your car? You might be better off with a decked block with the right casting date. And I'm NOT suggesting restamping.

Because an original engine from another car built close to the same time is the next best thing to the original "born with" engine IMO. I would never deck an original pad!

Call Tom @ 630-337-3481. He has a few, as well as some NOS blocks still in their crates!
