Default Hello everyone!

Hello everyone. My name is Ryan Lilly and I have an addiction... Hehehe. I have been reading this forum for several years now and kinda stayed behind the curtain watching all these beautiful cars being saved and recreated. Now it is my turn. I am In the very beginning stages of restoring/modding my first car, a 1969 camaro X-44 with a 350; TH350. It is currently white but I intend on taking it back to the origional color of frost green (59 59). I plan on it being a day-two car since I don't have most of the born with components but will need a LOT of help finding time appropriate pieces and some expertise on what I should keep, as I was born in '81 and missed the iconic muscle car years. My car currently has what I believe to be a 1973 chevelle 350 (T0711CKL 13B634820) so if anyone has the car and wants the engine back it can be yours. HEHEHE! I am a member of the camaro forums also, so I am sure I will be talking to a few of you there also.

I have enjoyed the knowledge I've been able to gather from this and the other sites and look forward to many of my questions being answered. I appologize ahead of time for some of the rookie questions I plan to spring on everyone and hope I don't become too big of a pain in the rear, but I do have that potential. I am very excited to begin moving forward on this long awaited plan of mine, even though I know it will take years to finish.

Me and my father purchased this car, for it to be my first, when I was 14 and I drove it until I graduated high school. I shipped off from Texas to Chicago for the United States Navy boot camp in 2000, and had to leave the car behind. After several years of the car sitting in a horse barn I finally got it out and into my garage here in Keller Texas. So here I am and the fun begins at this point.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting some new friends in the muscle car world.

Ryan Lilly
