Default COPO 4.10 gears

Had a closer look at the ring & pinion for my COPO Chevelle and realized they are both dated 2 67. These are the standard 3916226 / 3916228 gears. Has anyone seen a set dated this early?

Thanks,
Tony

Maybe you're right. Seems odd that the mistake would carry through to both gears though.

Tony,
The Feb of 67 date is a good date and it is accurate (not a mistake). I have a NOS set just like the one pictured above. It coincides with an ECN that I have.
I also have sets dated November of 67 and July of 68.

The earliest 3916234 posi unit that I have has an assembly date in the middle 1967.

Hope that this info helps.

Eric
