My rear stabilizer is bent. Am I screwed or is there some way to bend it back. It looks like at some time in its life it slipped off a jack maybe??

Take it to a spring shop that has a hydraulic press for re-arching leaf springs. They should be able to bend it back perfect.

That's a helluva bend!
By the way, it looks like the car has the later model (1975+) rear sway bar extension links with the single bolt strap. I think it should have the 2 piece/2-bolt version. Has someone replaced that sway bar or its components before? ![]() |

I really don't have the answer for that. The car has the proper dated COZ rear and a march 70 dated ring and pinion so the rear is good but why the stabilizer links are different is any ones guess.
