I have 4 Uniroyal white lettered tires. My original has UUA613 moulded into it. The other three are a little newer: UAF260, UAF287, and UAF287. How does this coding break down? Thanks.

Were these tires manufactured in Canda by chance? |

I bought three from a friend who had them on a street rod. He bought them through a tire store, so I understand, here in Canada in the very early '70s. The fourth came from our COPO Chevelle. It came from Baltimore so I would assume that this tire was American made but maybe not.

"Made in Canada" will be on the sidewall in small raised letters if they were.
I can't find the those plant codes in any of my records. |

Have you tried contacting Uniroyal in Elmira? I don't think they were closed down. They may be able to help you.
