Was searching Nobu's Dyno tune and found this thread.
Nobu's on DeLongpre was across from a City of Los Angeles engineering and permitting building that my Dad and his friend Pete worked. Pete bought a 1966 Hemi Satellite in 1969 after meeting the original owner son at the Huntington Beach street races who had a 66 Barracuda S like Pete had. He had it tuned quite a few times at Nobu's from 1970 to 1976 at Nobu's. There's a Nobu's sticker still on the chrome dome Hemi air cleaner today! I ran a best of 13.37 @105.63 at Lion's Drag strip on October 31, 1971. Had headers and 3.91 gears in it with Nobu's tune I bought the car from Pete about 1 1/2 years ago and Pete passed about 8 months ago. @galveston Last edited by autoxcuda; 04-26-2025 at 11:56 PM. |
