Well just about 1 year later. Fought the 4 deuce setup all fall. Almost gave up until I talked to an old timer. He said you need to go back to the basics. My issue was my left passenger side carbs were drawing alot more air than my right 2 carbs. If you placed your hand on top of the carbs while idling the motor would suck your hand in. I knew this was my problem but why? That aluminum pipe goes back to a PVC in the lifter gallery. Can anyone see what was happening?
Here is the new project!

So, you need to also draw pcv vacuum from the other side to even everything out?

Do you have an actual pcv in that line, to limit the amount of air the carbs can pull thru ?

Exactly. On my 65 fuel injected car, it does not have a PCV valve. BUT......there is an elbow what has a .090 hole to draw a vacuum in order to ventilate the crankcase.

The line does have a PCV valve in line. I had a guy add that for me when he built my linkage. A real good idea but he tapped the line into intake below throttle plates and guess what, this intake has an oil fill tube with a breather. Instant vacuum leak. This is why I couldn't adjust idle with mixture screws. While driving it and trying to stop all it did was stall. I have it pretty much set now. I just have to tap my back carb above the throttle plate is what I was thinking to add the PCV back in.
