I think the red/white combo, it looks the best to me.
I empathize with you about wanting to honor something a cool as a Baldwin Motion ride.
Not only is having the money a issue for buying one, you just can't find them.
I will help you any way I can, I studied Motion cars for 3 years while gathering parts and making mine.
Matter of fact, I even spoke with Marty Schorr and Joel Rosen
before I made my car to make sure they would be ok with a Clone that was as close to perfect as I could make it with NOS parts. They both told me that they were flattered that so many people still revered their work and how happy they were that the younger car guys were keeping their name alive.
Baldwin Motion clones are not exactly a big hit here as most here hate the idea of people trying to scam someone down the road. I agree with why they feel that way, and once these guys know that you just love the cars and want to be a part of the community, they will open up.
There is a lot of good guys here.
I have made some great contacts and have been able to get some info and things I needed from them. Just be patient and stay involved.
