Re: Local Cruise Night Pictures, Last One For The
Thanks Sam!!
Dennis, the triple black 68 Chevelle is a very good friend of mine's car.. Awesome Ride!! All original sheet metal & # match 396/325 horse car... We just rebuilt the motor in it last year..
The 1970 tuxedo black Nova SS L78 car is owned by another friend of mine.. It is a "real deal" L78 column shift turbo 400 car, bench seat.. It is like the twin to mine but in black.. The car has very low mileage, like under 10,000. The original owner was my friend's uncle who is still around and comes up to the cruises when his nephew brings the car. The car was drag raced in the early 1970s at Norwalk and Dragway 42.. It had the name "Black Sabbath" & "Black Eye" airbrushed on the doors during its racing life.. My friend is slowly putting the car back together stock.. During its racing life the heater and firewall box were removed, the brake booster, as well as other small misc. weight distribution items.. The car is arrow stright just like my Buddie's 68 Chevelle... He just had it repainted.. It is an original tuxedo black car.. Very Nice... I'll post some other pictures of it...
Rich
