1969 Body numbers were assigned when the order was accepted... so body numbers are a linear indicator of orders acceptance ONLY, Not Production dates... lowest/earliest to highest/latest.
Orders may have been accepted however the cars were not released to production until all necessary parts were in stock, thus a car with low production accessories, or a host of other reasons may be released for production later than a car which was ordered a week later, or even a month later. The 05E COPO on ebay right now has a body number close to the 04C Z a friend has...
