It's on my schedule and unless something happens between now and then, you all will be seeing my smiling face. The wife drove a hard bargin but in the end, I got what I wanted so it's all good. Now I just have to find a way to tell her about a '69 Z28 that has been parked in a garage since 1987 that I am taking a very hard look at. I have known this car since 1978. If I can get the numbers to work, I'm going to wait til after SCR 11 to bring it up. It's a buddy of mines car that I have known since 5th grade. He's the second owner. I have been talking to him about this for 6 years. I forwarded him a link to the "barn find" 7848 mile Oregon Z28 and the next thing I know he's telling me he's thinking about selling and would I be interested. I quit asking him about his 2 years ago so this was some what of a surprise to me. Hopefully it will work out and I can get this one. We'll see. Kinda wierd though, this car was parked when Reagan was still in office. Hasn't seen the light of day since.
