Growing up there was a guy around the corner from me who had a '67 GTX. It had a 440 w/automatic in it but it was originally a Hemi 4 speed car. The emblem on the front fender only had the word HEMI. It did not say 426 Hemi like this Satellite does. Was this the HEMI emblem just for GTX?
I can remember he told me that someone offered him a whopping $50 a piece for the emblems. Needless to say he kept the emblems on the car. This would have been around the late 70's early 80's.
He took me for a ride in it, just down the street and back..scared the crap out of me.
