The Edelbrock 7102 cam is similar 234-244 duration .488"-.510" lift. It doesn't make any real power under 3000-3500. It gives a nice exhaust note and doesn't mind lugging along in traffic. I would think that mine would need a 2000-2500 converter and 3.73 gears as a minimum to have any kind of decent performance in our el Camino.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
