Showing my ignorance but what is a COPO carrier?
[/ QUOTE ]
COPO CARRIER: - Often used as a word to describe certain individuals who carry strong emotional attachments to specific but legendary factory built Chevrolet high-performance vehicles..
Signs of infection include empty bank accounts but garages full of seemingly useless old cars, parts, tires and large car magazine collections also constant computer use and mumblings that include but are not limited to words such as Copo, Gibb, Yenko, Motion, Dana, L72, ZL1, Cowl tag, suffix, castings and stampings...also the for sure tell-tale word SYC!.
Sometimes known to travel great distances and group together w/ others contaminated, these individuals can even be found hanging around newer subdivisons or vacant commercial land claiming great things had happened at these locations in the past and yelling words like Dragstrip, NHRA and timeslip at each other all while looking for someone named Linda?.
Extreme caution must be exercised when in contact w/ any of the poor bastards infected as transmitting this disease to others has proven possible by not only personal contact but also by sharing pictures, phone lines and cyberspace w/ one or more of those afflicted!.
Footnote: Sometimes also used in reference to the large transport trucks that delivered the alleged special cars to the mythical places often referred to as Gibb, Yenko etc..
