May be a real stamping
. That "7" in the date code has that familiar little curve on the lower leg, looks like a "7" on a real 837 alternator. That particular font is not the same as many re stamps.
As far as the 2nd. didgit in the date code, could have been made that way ? Someone doing a restamp would have been more carfull ?
And if one was re stamping why not make it a more desireable 69 date?
