Default Re: Yenko Emblems?

The reason I brought it up is I recently picked up another pair of them, with a very similar story behind them as the ones I scored back in 2002 and again in 2004. They were definitely something Yenko had made, legit Yenko specific pieces, and may or may not have been used for whatever reason. I do know they were included in the glovebox of at least one car that was shipped to a network dealer. BTW...Just because the Deuce stripe has "LT-1" in it doesn't mean diddley squat in regards to if any of these emblems were ever stuck on a car... the stripe has "Yenko" in it too, but that didn't stop them from adding Yenko badges too (in 3 places, plus a logo on the tach and on all 4 wheel centers!) did it? Didn't think so...

I still think Don opted not to use them simply because when the COPO Novas arrived they already had 350 emblems on the fenders... He was probably expecting them to be totally void of badges like the COPO Camaro's of 69 were. (In which he added his own 427 badges btw!)

I post them from time to time in hopes an original Deuce owner or someone else who was around back then will share any story or knowledge of them... nothin' wrong with tryin' to research this stuff is there?
