I know what you mean! Funnny story: a few years back my prosecutors office was challenged to a grudge match softball game by another prosecutors office. We knew we were going to lose the game big time. So I offered to get the trophies for the contest. (I made them up out of the roomful of old carshow trophies I had)
The winning team was so impressed when I pulled the 4 foot tall, 1st place trophy out of my truck and presented it to them. Their mood changed drasticly when I brought out the runner's up trophy for our office. It was 7 feet tall and looked like something out of John Carpenter's movie "The Thing". I wish I had a photo of that moment. It was priceless!
It's been 11 years and the office still has that trophy proudly displayed.
