Yes, we all know that Chevrolet never made any mistakes on the assembly line.
I remember when I helped my dad order our 1987 Chevy Suburban back in 1986. We ordered it as a gold with tan interior, 350 4bbl, 3/4 ton 4x4 model. What arrived was a gold with BRIGHT BLUE interior suburban (a non-available color combination) with a diesel instrument panel. No explanation, no reason for the "added bonus." We rechecked the paperwork and all the original paperwork order forms were correctly done. The thing looked like the Official Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Pace Truck.
