there are no taxes or duties on cars that are 25 years or older going into the U.S. out of Canada. And you don't need to send the paperwork to the border 72 hours in advance when going from Canada to U.S. like you do going from U.S. to Canada.
If you bring it across yourself there is no brokerage firm to pay either...don't need 'em
coming into Canada there's 6% GST tax... that's it
I just bought a Cuda into the U.S. out of Canada - they never even opened the trailer...took me a grand total of 5 minutes to get across the border.
