I'm no expert on Jay, but he was a guy from Massachusetts that worked his ass off ( 300 shows a year ) and did very well because of it. He does not strike me as a Sean Penn type and I think he remembers growing up in a Middle class home. His dad was an Insurance salesman. His world now seems pretty good and so good for him. Thats a great
example of the American dream
