Now some SS 6 speeds were running 12.90's but they were hard tops and they weigh a lot less than a vert. Will a SS smoke a new Challenger? Probably not but it will easily keep up.

A buddy of mine bought a brand new 02 SS t top car, full power, with slp package and it went 12.93 @113 stone stock and put down 345 to the wheels on a Dyno Jet.
