Well, I found "the box". I won't derail the thread and go into detail, but there were some from Motion, many from Cal Speed in New brunswick and many from Roger's Speed Shop in Daytona (address 409 Volusia Ave.!!!) The very bottom of the box had 2 receipts from Reedmans for the purchase of the car in '69. Man, I haven't looked at those since 1969! Hundreds of receipts in there!
What memories.
OK, one more tidbit.....I found a receipt from a Chevy dealer in Georgia (one of my trips to or from Daytona) for replacement of a broken valve spring. Total cost: $7.69, part and labor! I completely forgot about that one. What to you think that would cost today, even if they had the part in stock????
