Once again my better half is doing her part for our brave service people who have been injured or disabled doing their job....Windham Ski Center, located in the Catskill Mountains of NY is hosting this special event...the Adaptive Sports Foundation is working with the Wounded Warriors Project to provide 3 days of fun and brotherhood for our heros. Karen is one of the instructors and the media coordinator for the event. Over 30 service people and their families along with dozens of NYC fire dept volunteers will be there for the weekend. The media coverage will be huge.....there will also be many state and federal elected officials on hand to show support....this is a great event and is the high point of the winter season at Windham...yours truly will be there tomorrow and take some photos to share with you...I have attached links to some of the various organizations involved.
