Default Re: WTB 1970 SS El Camino

OK, I'll give in to this one.....

I happen to have an extra 1970 SS396 El Camino project car that could be for sale. Basically, it's a very apart but mostly complete matching numbers drivetrain; 396/350, bucket seat, console, 4 speed, 12 bolt posi (I think it was 3.31), gauge package, functional cowl hood, etc....

California car since new, factory Shadow Gray with black interior, black stripes, NO vinyl top........ Pretty much a rust-free straight body.

Taken apart for resto in the early 90's. Extra stuff from 1970 parts car (complete rolling chassis, misc. body parts, etc.).

If this one wets your whistle, write me a note and I can give you more details. Not interested in "giving it away for pennies" but I am aware that El caminos don't bring the big money that Chevelles typically do.

Better touch base before Sunday though, because I'll be flying to Scottsdale for those "Car-Auction activities" that I love to attend.......

If not, best of luck in your search, they're out there!!!!

Thanks, Charlie
(no, not THAT "Charlie" in Northern California, I'm the "poor" one in the SF Bay Area that doesn't own a SuperSnake, etc.)...
