Default Re: 1969 z28 rs crossram

It seems that this car is for real after all...it also seems as if this fellow is not trying to market his vehicle at the moment...he readily admits it was in bad shape when he got it and it is being restored...and that it will be 5 or 6 months until it is done...if my math is correct i dont believe it will be ready for Atlantic City in February..

as far as the 2000 original miles...probably 99.9% of the 69 camaros have been restored..atleast once...give me an original drivetrain 2000 original mile restored Z-28 anyday over a 100k mile restored Z....or even a 3000 mile restored Z...We all can agree that an original survivor car is probably more valuable if it is in excellent condition...but the fact that it has only 2000 miles puts this car in a category of less than 1% of all camaros I suspect...that alone makes the car extremely attractive to me...

I just dont know why now that it seems apparent that the car does exist, that anyone has to continue to rain on this guys parade...I would surely be thrilled as I suspect most of you would also...and why does anyone have to insinuate that he has bad intentions and is only trying to market the vehicle ...I dont get it...

it also appears that the owner has taken many pics of the car also...before and during resto...again I dont get the skeptism and negatism(is that a word) at this point

and as far as the notarized statement...I got that from the original owner of my 67 Z also...but if I were buying the car, i would be more interested in the video of the owner recounting all the stories about the car...I suspect any judge in court would accept a video of 3 hours from the original owner as evidence of equal or greater value than notarized statement...but Im no lawyer

And with all due respect to all of you...I do respect each and everyones opinion, as long as it is put forth in a respectful manner...God Bless America!!!

And as far as the owner of the car...Congrats and Good Luck with a great find!!!! I know Im jealous...(in a good way!!)
