Last week I broadsided a doe at 25-30 mph in the middle of a snow storm. It was night time and didn't see the deer until the lights hit it. We hit about the same time. The deer appeared to keep on going, but I wasn't about to stop in the snow and get myself hit. It didn't look like much damage but the insurance bill is $3500. There was a report that there are about 1000 deer hit each year in our county alone. The deer appear to be in far more danger from cars than hunters around here.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
