Chevelles got the HD 3 speed on the floor when the Muncie wasn't ordered. You would think that the L79 would get something similar. Those column shifters were even worse than the floor units for locking up. There is a local guy with a clone L79 for sale. Built from a mint car.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
