I don't usually post too much regarding these issues but man this statement really got under my skin. Let me just make sure I understand where your coming from. Its okay to shill bid when your hard up on cash and need to sell the car at a higher $$. But its not okay if you have plenty of $$ and really don't need to sell? Something is really wrong here. If this person really, really needs to sell the car then take the $200K and be done with it. Is that the true market value?...maybe it is? Thats the risk you take when you make an investment. Leave the shill bidding out of it as your just falsely inflating the market price to suit your own needs. If he can't afford a loss on it then wait until Spring when the market might be better.
