I would think that the 650 spreadbore would be next best thing to a Quadrajet. I'd rebuild it. I'm doing one for our el Camino which has a mild 350.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
