Not to get too political here but most Americans these days don't like to be reminded that there are other Americans who are serving our country in uniform, often in terrible conditions and at great risk. If it were up to me every 18-year old would be required to serve at least one year in the armed forces. At least go through basic training and placed on ready reserve while they're in college. That would get everyone on board with the current war effort!
