What a fabulous piece of history - Best of Luck with it forever!
I had many '55's in the late sixties and early seventies and yours has bit of all of them in it. It's nice to see a car with so much detail from the day!
The Hush Thrush's we would paint hi-temp flat black, cause if a cop looked under your car and saw them or the round Thrush's it was an instant ticket!
The wooden seat mounting brackets were the norm, and yours are of higher quality - I've seen them made of multiple small wood blocks only under the front and back of the seat brackets!
Now you just need to pull off the front bumper and crank three or four of those aluminum spacers in the front springs........................
