I did meet someone on the hotel elevator that had come to the auction for the first time last year and bought a Boss 302. He brought it back to sell this year and he was worried about a down market. It was clear to me that this guy read a wall street type article over a year ago and bought the car purely as a investment. He did not strike me as a car enthusiast, just a speculator. I don't mind if he doesn't make any money.
