I spoke to Chris Robbins around 1:30, and they were just getting started after a little rain in the morning. The fastest car down the track at that time ran a 12.18 or so, and was a 440 car - the one with the university decal on the doors.
The '68 L89 Nova's first run was a 13.01 at 107mph. Must've spun the tires
