Dave, are you saying the manifold was completely painted orange, or just overspray near the heads?

I don't know if my manifolds came off a Camaro, Nova, or Chevelle, but they were very early takeoffs, and still had overspray around the ears. The paint was not really burned, as I recall, so they may have been removed the day the guy bought the car. They were dated march 69, (I think) if that makes a difference.
