Default Re: SANDLIN LUMBER / SEMA **Open House**

Special thanks to these Yenko.net forum members for their extraordinary effort [and personal expense] to support this Camp-For-Kids charity event by bringing their own very special cars to display in the sYc SuperCar corral section of the display:

Joe Barr - 1970 Yenko Deuce Nova
Tom Clary - 1969 Yenko Nova
Rob Clary - 1969 Yenko Camaro
Bob Gagliano - 1969 COPO Chevelle
Eddie Martin - 1969 ZL1 Camaro
Jeff Dickey - 1968 ProMod Camaro
Charley Lillard - 1967 Shelby Super Snake
Charley Lillard - 1955 Merlin V-12 Belair
I'll also be displaying a couple favorites from my little pile:
1970 Yenko Deuce Nova
1969 COPO Camaro
1969 RS COPO Camaro
1968 ProMod Camaro
Additionaly, there will be an assortment of 15 to 20 local Las Vegas Street Rods, Exotics and Pro-Touring cars to insure something cool to see for everyone.

As of today, the RSVP guest list is approaching 300, so our $6,000 pledge to the Las Vegas Church of the Nazarene**Camp-For-Kids**charity drive will be met. Included in each guest's $20 donation at the door will be complimentary hot/cold sandwiches and finger foods, wine, beer and soft drinks. Several SEMA Show exhibitors and vendors have donated dozens and dozens of very cool door prizes to be given out via blind drawing over the course of the 6 hour open house.

Bench racing, putting lessons and blackjack seminar by Charley Lillard and Ken Tibor in the dimly lighted parking lot remains free of charge. There will be a couple cable TV crews and magazine photographers attending with cameras in-hand, so everyone is asked to wear a clean shirt.

SS
ps: Bruce...it's Las Vegas, so I've declared that repro headlights should qualify for honorable mention at the event concluding ceremony.
