Re: Every dog has his day
I thought plea bargaining was for when a federal case wasnt too conclusive and it gave the accused an option not knowing which way it would turn out . When you have 7 witnesses saying he ran the show[alleged] and 3 others flipping on him, why offer him a good deal????? certainly its not to save court costs, we have a lawyer suing a dry cleaner for 54 million over a lost pair of pants and noone cares that that case is still going strong and wasting tax payer money and the courts time. Im sure his high powered attorney wants his 15 minutes of fame and the books he can write if they go the course and win.Im sure he doesnt want a plea deal because it will make him look weak as a lawyer and limit his TV exposure.
